Math update with Mrs. Neal

Hello 3rd grade families,

This week in math we continued to dig deep into fractions. We have been getting to know all about fractions, including what is the numerator, denominator, and names of fractions. We also were able to partition shapes into different fractional parts and label them accordingly.

You should be seeing a half sheet come home soon with math fact goals on it. This sheet will tell you which facts your student has passed so far (multiplication and division only) and what goals they set for themselves. Please review these with your students and keep up the math fact logs, it is really making a difference!
